My baby Tyler (ok, so he's not really a baby - he's 5 y.o.) has always been a bit of an easy vomiter, but now I'm becoming concerned....for the past several days, he has been throwing up at least once a day, usually immediately after eating. We have not fed anything new, he has his usual great appetite, is pooping fine, his tummy is soft with good bowel sounds, and he has the same activity level. When it started, he was throwing up several times a day, and now we are down to about once a day. If we feed him immediately after vomiting, he keeps it down. Should I be concerned? Could it be that he's just eating too quickly? We have been feeding the same food for months (and we're not even at the beginning of a new food bag). I just don't think it's right that he's suddenly vomiting like this...

There is no way any of us will be able to diagnose this better than your vet. Sounds like a trip is in order, better to be on the safe side. I hope it's nothing. :)

If your vet thinks he's eating too quickly, try putting a kong in his bowl, or even feeding him on a cookie sheet so he doesn't wolf down his food.

i've considered whether he's just been eating too quickly - the thing is, he's always wolfed down his food! we even started feeding royal canin's boxer food because it has bigger, shaped pieces and forces him to chew at least a little bit. he's been eating this way since he was a puppy, so that's why i was worried by the sudden vomiting....
