Vomiting and Diarrhea

Brooklyn has developed a problem where she is throwing up whatever she eats and her poop is completely liquid. She has been to the vet and they have run bloodwork, taken x-rays, and last night she stayed overnight for Barium tests, but the problem is still a mystery. Has anyone experienced anything similar and if so, what did it turn out to be? Any help would be appreciated. I want my baby to get better!

Sam did this when he ate some June bugs. He did it for two days. I put him on boiled chicken and rice until his little digestive system got cleared out.

We have gone thought this alot actually. One time it was an bacterial infection. The last time was because of his food. The first time he needed antibiotics, the second we just switched his food. He was on boiled chicken and rice and that cleared it up! He is now on Wellness Simple Solutions and is doing great! He also gets yogurt drops as treats! Hope this helps!

i really don't know. i know i had a dog that had vomitting and diaherra, she ended up having parvo. but you have took him to the vet, did they do a parvo test?

A friend's boxer had this for weeks (at least, watery diharrea) and it turned out to be her food. I don't think that explains the vomiting though!
Let us know if the Vet tracks anything down.

We are going through the same thing right now with our 4 year old female. The vets have checked her many times saying there is nothing wrong. After being up with her all night the other night, we took her back to the vet and we are now waiting results to find out if she has Addison's disease. We are praying it's not but she has alot of symptoms. Good luck.

i've just been through something like that - a dose of antibiotics, a dewormer & a diet of chick&rice did the trick.

keep on chick&rice till dog clears through - sometimes it can take a good few days.

it's just a bland diet & won't harm in anyway.

make sure the water bowl doesn't get empty.

We had gone through something like it our boy Jake 3 1/2 yrs was diagnosied with pancreatitis. He vomited bile,foam,food had watery diarrhea w/ sometimes white stuff that looked like egg white.
Now that we know what his has we feed him Solid Gold Holistic dry and caned
turkey, ocean fish, sweet potatoe ( 4 - small meals a day. ) We give him caned pumpkin once in awhile (a couple of tablespoons added to his food).

vomiting and diarrihea

My boy jake developed vomiting and diarrihea at age 12 weeks and spent two episodes in the local vet hospital. On the first visit the vet diagnosed HGE and on the second visit a secondary bacterial infection. When he still did not recover and the vet called me and said he did not know what was wrong with jake i was devastated. We had gotten him because we had a 10 1/2 year old fawn in her last days and now our new puppy was deathly ill. The solution was to take him to a Vet. specialty hosp where they were able to give him primo care! He had an ultrasound done and the cause of his intermittant obstruction was an intusseption (telescoping of the intestines). This was corrected by surgery and now jake is 5 months old and thriving. I hope your pup will be allright. I would not delay with these symtoms due to the risk of dire outcome. Love and kisses from Jake.
