Jackson threw up twice early this morning before I left for work at 7:30 a.m. I just assumed it was just "one of those moments" like some dogs have when maybe they eat too much. Well, when I came home from work, I noticed he threw up several more times while I was gone. It is now 12 hours after the first vomiting and he's still doing it every now and again. My vet is closed for the evening, so if this continues, I'll take him in the morning to see the doctor. What could this possibly be? He's never done it this much before, nor did he eat anything different than what he's been on for the past 6 months.

sick

When my dog got sick he acted like he had the flu. Like people do. The vet told me when the weather warms up and they start spending more time outside they're susceptipal to germs that were dormant through the winter. He and my rottie actually got a cold this winter. I watched him patiently, fed him yogurt and pedialite. He was fine in a couple of days. Make sure you look at his poo. Black poo or bloody stool could be parvo.

I haven't noticed his stool yet. I'm not sure weather he has gone or not. I have a big yard, and I guess I need to do a "search". He's acting normal, his gums are nice and pink/red. He's not bloated at all. I'm wondering now, I noticed him drinking out of my swimming pool. I use "Pristine" instead of chlorine thought. He's always drinking out of the pool and it's never effected him this way before. I'm hoping for it being maybe just some sort of "bug".
