Poor Charlie! What a sweet face he has. Our fingers and paws are crossed that he is feeling better soon.
I look at our Penny, from your rescue, and think of all the puppies she had before she was dumped at the shelter. It makes me sick to see these sweet babies treated this way.
Sending tons of positive healing vibes for a speedy recovery. I am confident that he will find the perfect forever home with a nice soft bed and tons of love.

I haven't posted in some time, but reading Charlie's story just made me have to respond. The pain this poor old guy has lived with his whole life is truly mindboggling. I'm hoping the Amish farmer gets arrested and does time.
And I praying Charlie has a chance for some good days ahead. I''ve emailed the link to a friend in NJ who recently lost a 13 year old boy. And I'm sending a little cash to buy this guy an orthopedic bed and quality food and treats. He needs to have creature comforts in the worst way.

That is such a beautiful picture. He is certainly going to make someone a wonderful companion with those soulful eyes.
I was so glad his story was on the local news this evening. The more people who understand the horror of puppy mill conditions, perhaps the less puppy mills that will be able to exist.

Charlies story made me so mad and so sad for him, then when I saw that photo of him looking into the face of someone who cares, I just started to cry. What a precious boy to be so gentle and full of love after what he has been through.

Charlie you are such a handsome boy. I know you will find your forever home and be treated like a king, the way you should be treated. Even when they are treated this way, they still have love in their heart.
