I am loosing my mind over this. Next week, Wed, May 4th until Monday, May 9th we are going on Vacation. Well not really vacation, just back to Pennsylvania for 6 days b/c it is my mother inlaws birthday and they are having a surprise party for her.
Well I am a mess, I do not know what to do with Molly......... I have tried to stay home, but my husband informed that that is not an option. It is not that I do not want to go, I just do not want to leave Molly.
My brother inlaw, who is also here, is having somone dog and house sit for him. We thought about taking her there, b/c it is familiar to her, but his dog is relentless and won't leave her alone. I mean after hours and hours of playing, my Molly wants to rest and their dog doesn't stop. We find Molly sleeping under the table to be left alone. Their dog won't even sleep at night if there is another dog in the house. So for this reason I do not really want to send her there, b/c you can tell she has had enough of her after a few hours.
We thought about asking our vet, b/c when Molly was little she was really sick and before we got her, she was there all the time. But my husband has done pet spa floor coatings and he said he has been there at night and walked dogs b/c he sees they are dying for attention. They get so little exercise and they use the bathroom right in their stall and then it is just hosed down. He also mentioned that b/c she is little enough they will give her a cage, not even a stall.
If anyone can offer any advice on what they think the better option is, or tell me what they did when they had to go out of town, it would be greatly appreciated, cause I have absolutley no clue what to do. I feel lost in all of this :(
