Urine dribbles all over the house??

I have a 7 month old fawn male boxer. He just finished medication for Kennel Cough, and Beaver Fever. The last 2 days I have stepped into dribbles of urine, then I follow it and its all over the house, as if he was walking and peeing at the same time. He is house trained, and we are home when he does it. I am worried that something is wrong, could it be that he just couldn't hold it, waited till the last minute and was running to find us to let him out dribbling all the way? We let him out right after, he still have a full pee, but the amount of pee that he dribbles in the house has filled a full size towel?? Does this happen to any boxers? Is it just a puppy thing, or from medication? Or am I just a worry wart??

Your poor pup has been thru a lot lately! He could have an urinary tract infection (uti). I know he has probably been on antibiotics, but they are designed to attack one type of bacteria,and another type may cause a secondary infection. My best advice is to make another trip to the vet. Sending healthy ((vibes)) your way!

I'd guess a UTI after the antibiotics too. I inevitably get one after every bout myself. Lily get's a discharge after a bout, but usually clears up. I would have the vet take a look and see what can help with keeping the good bacteria and fighting off the bad without worry of some other symptom creeping up later and having the run the gammot of drugs.

My boxer was about the same age when he had Kennel Cough. The vet put him on steriods along with antibiotics which made him drink a ton and urinate without knowing it. He was completely potty trained also. We even had to wake up every 1-2 hours during the night to let him go outside. Once the medicine got out of his system he stopped...that was a great day!

hope things are better... My Baxter had this and he had nothing wrong with him. He did this dribble pee on occasion ( like a few times a week) till he was about 2 years old! It made me crazy!!!!

PROBLEY NOT MUCH HELP ~ but my daughter (16) has cronic ear infections and after every run of antibotics we are back at the docs for a uti ! just wish they would give the meds on the same viset ! - save me from a second day of missed work 12 days later
