Urinates when meets someone

My 13 month Evie does this too! Every time we go to Petco, she pees on the floor. I warn them not to pet her, but those employees do not listen! Both my vet and my trainer have told me to ignore it, so I do. I usually just have my company pet her for the 1st time outside, then she's fine. Thanks for the links!

Micah @ 1 1/2 years has ruined a many of my freinds shoes. It's embarrasing. We now tell them to ignore him, not to even look at him until he gets used to the fact that they are there. After about 1/2 an hour, he's ok as long as he goes out right befor they pet him. :o

Our Lola only pee's on my dad!!! No matter who walks in at the same time with him, she only pee's when she sees him. We got her when she was 5 months old ( rescue) and ever since we have had her there is something about my dad that either scares her or excites her. I really do not think she is scared cause as soon after she pee's she won't stop kissing him. I think it is kinda funny myself, (that she pee's on my dad)except when I am cleaning it up....:D
