Boxer Insane
Almost 3 years old, and she consistently weighs in at the 50-51 pound range.

I'd say she's maxed out now, unless she starts getting pudgy!

Boxer pup eats too much?

Good to see that my pup isn't heading towards pudgy like I imagine. He's almost five months and a little over 30 lbs. The vet didn't say anything and he looks lean and healthy but he's still eating 3x a day and is ALWAYS HUNGRY. My first boxer was adopted so I'm not sure if he's still in a growth spurt or just incredibly spoiled but he never constantly wanted to eat like Bookie. He also never tasted human food for a loooong time so he never begged. Bookie will eat any scrap and follow my every move in the kitchen with his little nose sniffing away. Any suggestions? He drinks enough water so he's definitely not dehydrated. Is he just a growing puppy and is 3 cups 3x a day too much food for 35 lb five month old male puppy? He also just switched from Purina Puppy Pro to Beneful (not my choice) so that could be a factor.

scooby

he is now going to be 14 weeks old,and weighs around 27 pound,it seems pretty fine to me compared to other boxers here, but when he is without cloth for a bath he seems so skinny :(
or is he underweight according to his hieght and dimensions?

i give him food whenever he is hungry,he is really picky regarding food,he hasn't eaten eukanaba which i got for him, then i got some pfizer's and still same thing,i have treid a royal canin too but it was puppy large breeds(he eats the fod just first time and then never try it again, just smells the food and turns his back on it)
i got some chicken can's for dogs and scooby is mad for it,he just keeps licking the can xD
apart from those chicken can's he just eats his cereal which he was eating when he came to our house, boiled eggs, cheese, some dog treats and sometimes our food , he is not eating any kind of dog dry food

how to make him eat or how to introduce dry food to him slowly?

Tucker weighed in at 60.7lbs at the vet today and he looks sooooo skinny to me, the vet said his weight is fine tho.

Let me tell you this: I am considered "obese" because of how much I weigh. But looking at me I do not look anywhere near that and I had one Dr. Tell me I needed to drop 50lbs and another tell me that he was shocked I actually weigh what I do because I look completely normal and healthy.... (had blood work done too and I'm fit as a fiddle)

My point in saying this is that if i lose 50lbs like the 1st dr. said I should, I would look like a toothpick. I know this because I used to be 50lbs lighter and had a lot of comments asking if I ever ate.

SO even though the vet says that Tucker is a good weight, that doesn't mean it suits his body. If I were at what my height SHOULD weigh, I would probably float away in a strong breeze.
Granted Tucker is a doggie and I am a human, But i think it still applies. :)

So if you feel he is too skinny then fix it. If you think he is fine, don't worry. :)

Raiden just turned 7 months old and is up to 60lbs now. He still looks skinny as ever so i have a feeling he is going to be a big boy!
