After being home on the weekend, Chewy slowly started coming back to his old self Saturday evening. It's so good to see him playing again. His vet appointment went ok this morning. The vet did some bloodwork to see that his kidney levels were still normal, and although one level was higher than supposed to be, he said it was nothing to be too concerned about. Chewy is still not too excited about his dry k/d food, but I bought him some wet food that he will eat...too bad it's almost $2 a can! YIKES! I'm so glad to have my baby back, but unfortuneatly this process is not over. The vet would still like to do more bloodwork next week to re-check his kidney levels once again. It's better safe than sorry. It's just hard on the pocket book, especially since we are expecting our first child in April. Our 7 year old Chewy has been such a good boy to us, and is so loving that he deserves the best. Thank you all for your love and support.
