Unusual things they eat

I'm curious to hear about unusual foods your boxers like to eat. Bella is 5 months old. Aside from her being at an age when everything goes in her mouth I've found she likes bananas, lemons & whipped cream (not necessarily together!) While we were putting up our outside Christmas lights she also discovered the prickly pear cactus. How she tore off an entire lobe and didn't get stuck is beyond me! Luckily we caught her before she could chew on it but hubby got a poke taking it away from her!

Mine love carrots, apple slices, oranges,bananas, cucumbers, lettuce, pretty much almost anything they see my kids eating. The fruit and veggies are better for them than fattening doggie treats. They LOVE ice cubes. Not sure what the fascination is, but every time the freezer door opens, they come running.

ABBY has eaten everything from toilet paper to sticks to pillow stuffing. If I were to list all the things she has eaten, or tried to eat, I'd be here for days.

BUGS!!!!!!!

Mostly the big black ants, but he will try and eat anything that moves.

Piper Ann will eat anything Riley eats and Riley will eat anything, period. Ice cubs are pretty high on our list of favorites, too, but people are always surprised when the eat plain lettuce. I think the thing I'm most impressed with is their taste for jalopano peppers. Maybe they swallow it so fast they can't taste it?

I'm sorry. I think that I misunderstood what you were meaning. Were you asking about regular food, as in other kinds of human foods. ABBY likes Vanilla Wafers, cheese, some fruits-the messier they are to eat are the ones she prefers. Oh, heck! She's a little pig. She'll eat anything that I'll let her have.

Any fruit or veggie, those whipped yogurts are a favorite, cheese and peanut butter are also high on the list. And a recent dismaying discovery...cow poo! Ugh. Jordan will also eat a dryer sheet if he can get one in his grips, which we obviously try to avoid. Also, Jordan hears the ice machine from a dead sleep no matter where he is in the house. And Barkley will crawl all over you at even the hint of beer or wine. We don't give her much of either, particularly because I've read that grapes and raisins are toxic to dogs, but I'm telling you she will go face first in your wine glass if you're not paying attention!

The only food Bayleigh will not eat is pecans. I was making a pecan pie for Thanksgiving and dropped a pecan half. Bayleigh snatched and ran. I found it later on the floor in the living room.

She will eat anything from litter box snacks to tampons, anything paper!

Hobart will eat absolutely everything. He was enjoying some plain spinach leaves from a salad yesterday :rolleyes: They both go absolutely batty for whipped cream. They can be anywhere in the house, even in a dead sleep, and when they hear the can squirting they materialize in an instant. I don't know what that says about us...probably that we have too much whipped cream in this house!
