Underbite

I was looking at Rosco's teeth last night and noticed that he had a severe underbite. Is this normal for Boxers? Everytime he's been to the vet I get complemented on his health / coat. The vet looks in his mouth everytime but has never said anything.

What are you defining as "severe"?

A boxer is supposed to be undershot. Not as undershot as an English bulldog, but certainly undershot. As a rough guide, the front row of teeth on the lower jaw should exceed the front upper teeth by about one pencil-width.

Yep, lil Spence has a underbite about that size.

Our Taylor has a little bit of her bottom teeth showing sometimes. Just if her upper lip doesn't lay right. It is kind of cute! LOL

I LOVE it when Dempsey's lip gets stuck and his little tooth shows and he looks all tough! LOL
