Wow! What a good dog! I'm sure Charlie Paper would have taken off...but he has surprised me before. What a good doggie!!
Thats awesome to hear! We're still working on Samson, he has his good days and bad days, but he's just too curious! One day he took off running across the street at a squirrel- and this is just as I thought I had the training down pat! Hes still a baby though, and we have work to do- he ALWAYS listens, sometimes it just takes a minute or two!

They can do anything
I think the key is to WORK every day. It doesn't have to be a drudge...just do the commands and make sure they do them. Some babies respond to food...some to toys.
Oscar and I work in the house...just a few minutes with stays [wait], downs and sits...we work for a few when we go for a walk.
Don't ever get discouraged, this is a VERY intelligent breed. Also remember that Oscar is four.
By the way - they are working dogs - but if Oscar were filling out any papers and the blank for occupation came up he would probably insert...clown or entertainer or teacher's pet.....get the pic
