I'm going to stick my neck out here and say I have seen an ugly looking Boxer before too. He was running free round our neighbourhood and my own Zak got out and joined him in emptying someones' rubbish bag just before the men came to take it away. This dog was a brindle and the markings on his throat and face made him quite ugly. He was a jump-artist and jumped over our gate to join my dogs before he ran away again and the city ranger got him. Someone out there should be held responsible for not training him properly. As for my own Zak, he didn't get fed that night--he was in disgrace.

Glenys. As for my own Zak said:
just curious did he not eat as a punishment or was he just full from eating the trash

reminds me of my aunt, they adopted a stray that everyone was feeding in the neighborhood and everytime they would go for walks he would attach himself to a garbage bag and try to rip it open when they were walking , till the day he died that poor dog never got over the fact he didnt have to scrounge for food anymore, but i cant help but laugh when i visualize this med size dog grabbing onto the bags as she is walking him and fightng with him to let go.:)

My first boxer Millie was the runt and basicly given to me by the breeder because she was "ugly" and no one wanted her. I do admit she didn't have the most desireable features, and on first glance a lot of people called her ugly, but if you spent more than 5 minutes with her she you knew she was the cutest ugly dog ever. She was my love ugly or not. hehee...she really was sorta ugly, but her boxer charm made up for it all!! In her momma's eyes she was the cutest dog ever!! :)
