Tyson went under the knife today...

Finally got him neutered and had his teeth cleaned while they had him under. Just picked him up and he's still pretty groggy. Laying on the couch snoring at full blast right now. I know it was the right thing to do, but I'm praying that it won't change his personality at all. Only time will tell I suppose. Anyone else experience any changes after neutering? He's almost 2 yrs old now, so he's developed quite a personality.

You've done a good thing! the only real changes (for the better) that you might see is that he won't get soo upset and frustrated when there is a female in heat in the nearby area--I forget how many blocks radius they can smell a female in heat! and probably no misunderstandings with other male dogs who might not appreciate an intact dog around them...and the obvious health benefits! Yipee! His personality will stay the same otherwise--unless you wanted a horny hyper misunderstood male? LOL
