Archie is almost 7 and has grinded his teeth for about a year or so. It sounds really terrible, and I hope he doesn't crack a tooth! He also seems to do it when he first settles down into a little ball to sleep right before all the jerking, yelping, whining, tail wagging, and/or running-like movements begin. Now that's a hoot!
He doesn't seem to have any problems, but the teeth grinding sends a shiver down my spine. :(
