I have a boxer named Gabby. She is 12 and a half years old. I tooked her to the vet last Thursday. Gabby has a tumor in her stomach area. It doesn't sound very good for her. I decided not to have them to open her up because of her age. Please if anyone has been through this let me know what to expect and about how long she has. She is my first boxer and it's just me and her. She always been there when I needed her so this has been very hard to deal with. Their's been a lot of crying since last Thursday. I've tried to make her life as easy as I can. Please keep her in your prayers.
Thanks.

Sorry Gabby isn't feeling well. Just love her and keep her comfortable for as long as you are blessed to have her. I'll keep her and you in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry about your Gabby. Cancer is such a scary/sad thing to deal with. In the last year, six dogs I know have been diagnosed with cancer, including my own Boxer, Cookie, and her sister Daisy.

How long she has depends on what kind of cancer she has and where it is. Even then, some dogs live longer than average, and some don't. My best friend's dog, a Dalmatian named Pixel, was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma last May and given between two weeks and two months to live. Pixel lived for nine and a half months after diagnosis, and was killed by a school bus, not the cancer.

My thoughts are with you and Gabby.

I'm sorry to hear about Gabby. I lost my first boxer from a brain tumor,
he was a young 7 yr old.
I know what you are going through. The only thing I can say is cherish the time u have w/ Gabby now and don't worry about how much time she has left.
