Tumor at one year old?

Help!! I have found a lump.

Hi everyone,
This is my first time chatting about my baby. We have a beautiful little boxer/lab who is going to be a year next month. Yesterday, I found a lump on the inside of her back hind leg. It was about the size of a large toostie roll and I can easily move it with my fingers inside her skin. I am not sure what it is? Any suggestions would be great! I am planning on taking her to the vet to get it checked out. But I really worried about my baby.

lh4x- so glad to hear the good news! That's exactly what Sam had.

Bailey/Girl- this dosen't sound like what Sam and Ozzy had..Sam's tumor was a large, pink, dime-sized bump. I wouldn't have any idea what it is. Let us know what you find out after your vet appt. Also, please post an introduction in the intro. forum, we would love to know more about you and your baby(and this is in the rules, don't want you to get in trouble) Good luck and best wishes, I know finding a lump of any kind is scary:(

I am so glad for you!! My Muggsy has to have a tumor removed from his head (the very top) Feb 4th. It is about the size of a quarter and they are sending it to be checked. I am pretty freaked out. I just want it to be over and done with. I am so glad to hear you had a happy ending. Best wishes.
