He will be 2 in February is it normal that they stop acting totally insane at around 16 months? He still plays hard, but is perfectly happy to sit with mommy on the couch when he is done playing.

My Hannah seemed to do the same thing at 18 months. It was like everything I had been trying to teach her just clicked. She still gets kinda crazy sometimes. That's just Boxer, they never lose their playfulness. Thank goodness!!

We adopted Austin when he was 2, and he was a wild one! He's 7 now and still likes to play, but he's not as crazy as he was!

Tae seemed to calm down a teensy bit at 19 mos. At first, I thought she might be sick. lol Once I realized she wasn't, I was excited, as I actually got some ME time in the evenings.

Titan turned 2 back in May and I notice a change in him too. Use to he'd be wired all day, just running all the time. Now he sleeps most of the day while we're gone, he'll play some at night for like 30min. at a time, then go lay down. I can always make him play, but he's pretty content just lounging most of the time.

Yes big changes between 1-1/2 and 2. Jake was 2 in February and he is sooooo much calmer. He still gets wacky of course, but loves to just curl up and snooze or look out the window.
