Boxer Booster
On Friday I left work early to spend some time with my little Tug's. Well we went for our normal walk down to the beach, and he jumped in the creek to get a drink. Well he decided that it was fun to get wet, he started running around in the creek(it is very clean water). He got me soaked in the process. Then he got brave and went closer to the shore of the Cheasepeake Bay, the waves came in and he jumped a foot. He likes water, but waves, well he can go without. He also learned that the water from the bay tastes yucky and he promptly barfed it up(ew).
Then on Saturday I told him that we would go to the dog park, if I got my work done... I got the stuff done, and off we went to the dog park. He ran around like a little fool for over an hour. He found a lab puppy that is about his age and size. The 2 of them tormented the older dogs non-stop, then when the older dogs got after them, they just wrestled each other.
I brought home a very tired boxer, and he slept the entire way home, and most of yesterday.
I think I need to take him more often (if it wasn't almost an hour away).
