Last week my baby lost the battle with rocky mountain spotted fever and had to be put to sleep. I'm still in shock. I had no idea it could be so devastating and dangerously hard to diagnose and to treat.
We live in Arkasas, USA and I don't know of any other folks who have been through this but now I realize that had I done a few things differently last year he might still be alive. Does anyone have any experience with this or any rickesttsial disease?
I'm sooo heartbroken - I don't need to tell you all that he gave so much more than he got. I have lost my best friend.
