You could get one of those suction cups with a ring around it and stick it to the wall of your shower, that way Lady can't reach it and it will be right there when you need it. I have mine up on the shower wall to keep kids and dogs away from it!!

I just read those posts about the boxers getting their tongue cut by paper shredders. They brought chills to my body!! Please everyone be careful about sharp objects and your furbabies because it is so dangerous. I just realized how bad her situation could have been and I feel so bad about it. I love my baby to death and hope that nothing that bad will ever happen to her. It hurt me yesterday when I walked around the house and in different spots I seen all the blood that Lady shed. It is so terrifying!!

So everyone BE CAREFUL!!

When Grunt was about 5 months old, I found him chewing on my razor. He had went in the bathroom and came out chewing on something that sounded crunchy. When I opened his mouth, out fell the blade from my razor. Thank goodness I caught him in time beacause he didn't see the harm in it. He just looked at me like "why did you take away my chew toy". It was scary but luckily he didn't cut his mouth to shreds. I've learned now to keep things up out of his reach.

Well thank you all for the info about the shredder. I will take care of this right now. Still absolutely stunned by the whole thing. It's amazing what these little ones get into to. Worse than skinkids.

I don't recall Jasmine or Hailey getting ahold of the razor mainly because we have a standing shower that has a door that closes. First let me say I believe Alex is going crazy in his old age. In the middle of the night he'd get up on the bathroom counter (via the window seat) and rummage and it never fails that he finds dh's razor. He has gotten ahold if it a time or two, but luckily he hadn't left a trail of blood behind. Don't get me wrong he has chewed the razor and had cut his gums, I guess it wasn't really bad. Now we gate off the master bathroom to keep him from getting up on the counter. We've already had to deal with back problems with him before and he shouldn't be jumping off the counter nonoicon.

You never know what they can get into...........needs eyes in the back of your head!! Jackson almost got my razor out of my makeup bag one day but once he got to taste some of the makeup, he went with that. He chewed up lipstick, mascara, eyeshadows,........what ever he coulld get his lips into. It bummed me out at first but at least he didn't hurt himself. Always gotta look at the brighter side.......could always be worse!

i feel so sorry for you , you must have been scared out of your mind, im glad your baby is okay. its never happened to me but know i will put the razor up higher. glad all was well.

Whose blood was it then? I can't imagine all that blood being everywhere like that and you couldn't find a mark on her. That is just weird. Glad everything is fine though.
