Trying new dog food

I have several samples on the way. Merrick and Chicken Soup are both sending samples. I received a sample of Flint River Rach - trout and sweet potato last night. AJ LOVED this food. This is the first thing I've EVER given him that he liked this much. I'm going to continue to search for the perfect food for him but I ordered a big bag of this to start trying. He really likes it so we'll have to see if he can tolerate it. They also have some other foods that look great by Flint River but I'm going to see how he does on this one since it's supposed to be for dogs with allergies... We'll see - I'll keep you posted!

Glad to hear everyone's babies are enjoying their new foods!! Roxy just got her Premium Edge samples in the other day. I can't wait to try the skin and coat formula. I thought she was gonna lick the bag to death!!

Yea-always great to hear good news. I'm in Va also,a couple of hours from you and haven't had much luck in finding good foods for my girls. I don't think its allowed to post a store name here...but maybe give a hint where you found it? Maybe you could use *'s as some of the letters. I have ordered some of the Timberwolf Organic small bags but I'm afraid shipping costs aren't going to let me be able to keep my girls in it. Thanx

Petsmart has been my saving grace...otherwise...well, she wouldn't be eating so good. Now, I just wish they would let you rack up points with their Petperks card for the dollars you spend rather than the measley coupons you get with it. I can also buy this brand at our Commissary at Ft Lee...go figure.

There are places to get the more high end foods, but they are deep in Richmond in frooo frooo dog boutiques that I cannot get to easily and without a huge hassle. She'll be fine on this, or we'll move on to something else I can find at Petsmart.
