Tried everything Please Help.

I have fed my dogs just about everything. I can't seem to find a food they like. I put yogurt in and I have food all over the kitchen floor from them just trying to lick the yogurt off.
They are on Natural Balance Sweet Potato right now and they just wont eat....grrrr. What do I do. They did a little better on Canidae but not much. My youngest boxer who is two, doesn't way but 50 lbs and you can see all his ribs. He has always been really skinny.
I know these foods are suppose to be better for them but they just do not like them. and they have never known anything else. They only eat when they are starving and have no choice. My youngest has been throwing up and just wont eat. Please help!

Have you tried Eagle Pack Holistic. That is what I feed both of my boxers and don't tell anyone but when I was on my search for a food that they both liked I even tried Rachel Rays Nutrish and they both loved it.

Ever considered a raw diet? My girl Kaybie was beyond picky and did the same things you're describing........then I switched to raw......and she has NEVER skipped a meal since......it's like all along she was trying to tell me that this is what she needs.

i am not sure what the raw consist of but i don't know that I have the time for raw diet.

Do you mix the dry food with warm water? Mine HATE dry food.

In the past month we switched to Wellness Core Ocean - I have never seen my two eat so fast in all their lives. We feed them the kibble, mixed with about 1/2 cup warmed water (heat in microwave for 1 minute). I also usually add 1 generous spoonful of the Wellness canned salmon.

Just be careful of adding water to just any kibble. Most commercial brands you shouldn't add water or any liquid. Something about the Citric (?) Acid and water can cause bloat. I don't know details at all so I can't give them. Maybe someone on here knows.

I have tried the water trick and heated, no luck, it sits and gets rock hard.

Solid gold works for my lil lady Mon-fri and the weekend I try too mix in some sardines or ground beef as a lil treat!

I reviewed the Dog Food Analysis web site. If the food contains citric acid water should not be added to the food.

With the review, if Citric Acid is in the ingredients they state the following:

"Note that this food uses citric acid as a preservative and should not be premoistened prior to feeding (a bloat risk factor for large breed dogs)."
