boiled or scrambled eggs are great, but remember to let cool down. little pieces of chicken are good to, as are cottage and normal cheeses, and natural yoghurt.
Try carrot and a whole apple which will keep them quite for a bit!
Ive tried raw hide treats and always had sick to clear up afterwards so I would stay clear. Kongs and Nyla bones are excellent, and last ages.
Check out wilkinsons (G.B) for flavoured nyla bones and rings. Very good for chewing. Buster enjoys breath fresh bonio and the really large biscuit bones, forgot the brand though.
When you cook meat save the stock, dogs love it, you can add it to the kibble. If you eat beef save all the trimmings of fat.
There have been lots of food warning threads, suchas grapes/raisins. and onion so do a search to get up to speed.
You could also try a handfull of kibble in your pocket for emergency treat situations!
Good luck
