Super Boxer
I use soft treats. That way it's easy for them to chew and doesn't really interfere with the training, meaning they don't have to take time to really chew it up.

I also used a variety of treats and mixed them together.

Plain Cheerios

We use PLAIN Cheerios (no sugar coating, yellow box) when clicker training the pups. You can buy the generic brand, and they last a loooooong time.

u can even try some POPCORN !! lol.... its a big hit

there is a very cute thread about it around here someplace ~~

we use :
soft treats ( a mix )
blueberry organic ( hard but tiny ) sam loves them
hard cheese'
turkey dogs
and OLIVES
for training or just goofing off

sam has a dish of ( milk-bones type ) dog bisects at the back door he gets after going out - if he sits to have his coat taken off ( and feet drying on rug before hitting the wood floors :) )

you just have to find what ur pup loves ~~ and treats have dif value - so make note of what she goes nuts for - at my house its olives n popcorn

hope this helps !

Completely Boxer Crazy
Sansal and Sampsons - I want to be your pets in my next life! Y'all buy the high end treats! ;) Reminds me of my ex-husband: he used to buy NY strip for our rescue mutt, Charlie. Charlie could polish off a chopped up, medium cooked steak in under 20 seconds if we let him. Now I'm lucky if *I* eat steak!
