I probably wouldn't risk the park until she has had all her shots - its not worth the risk. A good play at home with her toys will do the trick!

Survived her first road trip

Bella did great this morning in the car she cried a little at first, and then she ended up sleeping the entire way. I thought we would have to make a couple stops on the way there. She got a ton of attention all day from everyone at work, and after a couple small walks she is fast asleep in a comfy chair next to me at my desk.

Belle was 8 weeks old when we got her in So. Indiana, then we had to drive 8 hours home to Waukesha, WI! We made it as far as the corner gas station with her in the crate, but the crying was too much. She spent the rest of the trip on my lap! She was wonderful - slept most of the way, no car sickness or accidents. The stop-and-go traffic in Indianapolis that day got a helluva laugh, though. She woke up and decided to lick the passenger-side window all over. It was funny to see from the INSIDE of the car, and can't imagine what the people on the OUTSIDE saw. Her tongue, smooshed out, was the size of her whole peanut head!
