Transport in CA ASAP

Once again there is a boxer in the Kern County Animal Shelter in Bakersfield. I can and will get him out but he can not stay at my house, I am pet sitting a small puppy right now. Anyone in LA area willing to help with transport or close to Bakersfield who can house him? He doesnt have much time left.

Thanks Stephanie, I already tried the CUR. Of the few that were within the vicinity, I got no replies or returned emails. I may possibly end up driving myself if I cant find some help. Whatever it takes, I will do. Hopefully I can find someone in LA though that could meet me halfway.

I tried the phone numbers on the CUR and got help pretty quick. AZ Boxer Rescue may be able to foster him. I think we have room if you can find a way of getting him here. Let me know if we can help and definitley call Ursula her # is on the LA page. She is really nice and may be able to help.

I work with Nor Cal Boxer Rescue, and I'm pretty sure that they have gotten boxers out of that very shelter before. Let me know ASAP if you'd like me to check with them. They have volunteers all over and may be able to get him out.

I'm in Granada Hills and I can meet at the Grapevine and bring him to the LA shelter if Ursula agrees to take him.

I can only do it on Sunday though.

Donna- I didnt see you on the CUR possibly because I searched for available Thurs, Friday. Thank you so much for the offer. We are going to go ahead and drive him ourselves tonight, its not too far just hard on a weeknight with two toddlers. I have been in contact with ursula the entire time, she is going to take him it was just a matter of getting there. Usually I can keep them for a few days but with a friends small pup (not finished with puupy shots) I didnt want to take any chances.

I will put some pics of him in the gallery. He is a sweet boy!! Unfortunately this shelter almost always has boxers.
