OK... This morning I get up as usually and let Daisy out to go and potty and she is soooo excited to see me... I was like goodness what a wakeup... Kidney beans, jumps and hugs... So I let her outside to go and potty then feed her and she is doing the normal job of walking around the house checking things out... Well my daughter or should I say her skin baby is laying in my bed not wanting to get up... I tell Daisy go get Lissa.. So Daisy pounces on the bed and skin baby is covered up completely under the blanket.... Daisy looks at me like, "ok where did she go?" I pull the covers back and Daisy snorts at her like wake up now I want kisses... So I go about my business thinking Daisy woke her up and they are playing.... WRONG!!!!!!! Daisy is broadsided with skin baby's arm and legs wrapped around her and they are both going back to sleep.... This dog is a traitor!!! I look at Daisy and ask her what are you doing... Daisy picks her head up and snorts at me and lays back down... The funny part is when I go to get "HER" skin baby dressed Daisy tries to steal the clothes from me so I won't get her dressed.... I give up.... angelicon

That is so cute! At my house, its Adam's job to wake up my 7 yo. She has the hardest time waking up!! So, I send Adam in there - he paws at her until he can lick her!! I dont know what I'd do if he climbed up there and snuggled! :) Man! it would throw my whole morning off! :D

Well Daisy is fired now from waking up my 3 yo... Fired I tell you... Does anyone know why she is just now taking my 3 yo and acting like she is her skin baby all of a sudden... if I say Daisy go check on the baby she will run inside to see if my 3 yo is ok... usually she will lay with her and last night when it was bedtime Daisy crawls up in the bed with her when I read to her... Is she doing this because I am pregnant?

it could be that she senses your pregnancy and that she just now has a strong bond with your little girl! Dogs are very in-tune to changes in bod's like that ;) So she might act a little anxious as the baby gets nearer - listen to your dog cuz they "know" ! :) I think that its great that she has such a bond with your skin kid!!

I have noticed she is watching my belly and I am only 5 months... She is looking and snorting at it... She has just taken to skin baby all of a sudden... Its like she is her mommy now...
