training to go in 1 spot

I'd like to train tyson to go in 1 spot when he does his business. He's 14 month's so I know it might be tough. Is it possible and if so, how do I go about doing it? Should I take him out on the leash and bring him to the spot? Any tips would be great.

Well, I think I lucked out. My dogs have always seem to eventually start going where they didn't play in the yard. They seemed to gravitate away from the play area after about a year and a half in age.
Have you tried to take your pup out on his leash to the area where you want him to go when you know he has to go (ie. after bed time, after meal time) and walk him around there until he goes and treat and praise every time? Treats and praise always seem to get a repetative action.

taking him out on a leash and taking him to the exact spot is a great start. it will require lots of patience and consistency but it can be done. it might be a good idea to have some of your dog's favorite treats to give him as a reward once he's done.
