Traded Demodex for a broken toe!!

After two months of dips, both Marley and Irie tested negative for demodex!! Marley went in this morning for his final test and final dip, and came out with xrays showing a broken toe:( Last night while he was sleeping, he kicked suddenly and kicked a lamp cord and the lamp fell on his toe! I'm a horrible mom! Poor little guy! I'm just glad we're done with the dips. I must say though that although mitaban has gotten a lot of criticism on this board (and from me early on in the dips), it worked well on my pups and has been put back on the market.

Poor guy! A fur-friend of ours broke her toe a few months back and she had to wear a pink cast, which was very cute but she did not think so. I hope Marley's back to his old self very soon!

Same exact thing happened to us. Rocco was finally cleared of Demodex and a day later broke his toe.... :(
