Tracking Class

Last evening Oscar and I attended our first Tracking Class. It would have been fun if it hadn't been so cool and windy. Today we went to the park to start on our homework. I think he's getting the hang of it. We'll see if he progresses as the homework gets harder.

I used to do some tracking classes with my ex and our two boxers. Titus was only a puppy at the time, but they both really liked it and did quite well.

You are soooo lucky to have a class near you! I would love to take a tracking class but there are none where I live. I have been in touch with a tracking judge who is willing to travel out to my area to teach a class if I can put together the right number of people and and a place to have the classes. I am working on it, but will probably not have everything in place for a couple of months. At least it will be warmer then! How are you going to practice in all that snow we are supposed to get Thursday night and all day Friday?

Good question. I missed doing homework today because I was a lazy @$$ and didn't get out this morning before agility class. By the time we got home it was raining (still is) and since Oscar HATES rain I didn't try, and now I need to go to work. The forecast is not looking good for doing any more tracking practice for the next day or two.
