Bruce got about 3 weeks of amusement from the box my dishwasher came in! One small tear in one of the flaps turned into me picking up cardboard confetti off the yard for weeks...and weeks...and weeks...but hey, it was heavy duty - and free!

Oh yes... Creek's OTHER favorite toy is... an empty milk jug :) If I set the milk out on the counter before it's empty, she will stare at it and whine until you tell her to stop or put it away :p

Ali is VERY destructive. Even toys that claim to be indestructible she manages to rip apart. Incredibly, the most durable toys we have found are 99 cent squeakers that the local Super WalMart sells and some stuffed toys from both WalMart and Meijer. She likes the stuffed farm animals that moo, cluck, etc.. EVERY toy that we have spent alot of money on from PetSmart, etc. she has destroyed. Price does not guarantee durability:)

Also someone suggested tying old t-shirts into knots - you can also do this with old socks. DH is constantly throwing away socks so we either tie one into a knot and she uses this as a pull toy or you can tie several together - sort of in a "star" type formation. This also makes a good pull toy. Now that I mention it, you can probably do this with any old piece of clothing.

We have also very recently realized that the more she has of one type of toy, the less destructive she is - it kind of spreads the energy around:)
