Toothpaste suggestions

Anyone have any toothpaste/toothbrush suggestions or will any kind from Petsmart do the trick? Thanks.

Any kind of pet toothpaste will work, just dont use human toothpaste on your pet. Ours is in a red/white tube that's poultry flavored. Our dogs love it! Good luck and happy teeth cleaning!!

cet has the best becasue it as specail enzymes in it but you have to get it from your vet

If your pup is not accustomed to having his teeth brushed, it is easier to start out with a finger brush. After that, I have a 3 sided toothbrush that brushes all surfaces of the teeth at the same time. I don't know what it is called (petrodex, or something like that maybe?) but it works well.

We got Biff's at Petsmart - he still just wants to lick the paste and chew the brush!

I use Petrodex toothpaste for Oscar. The toothbrush I like has a long angled handle and bristles on each end, one small set and a larger set. I use the larger side for Oscar. He chews on the bristles as I brush, so the toothbrush needs to be replaced frequently. I tried the triple flex toothbrush for him, but somehow it causes his gums to bleed on it, so I don't use that kind anymore. He loves the poultry flavored toothpaste, and each evening when I call him to have his teeth brushed, he comes into the bathroom and sits on the rug, waiting. As I work on his teeth, he keeps trying to the chew on the brush. It's pretty funny, but it works.
