Boxer Pal
Hi,
I have seen a few posts about how Boxers dont like the heat and my little baby is no exception, it is around 30 C / 90F here today and she is not happy. Last night it was in the 25 C / 80F range and she did not eat this morning and has not wanted to drink water at all, although I managed to get her to drink a bit and eat a bit this afternoon.
Is this common for them to do this when it gets really hot? We live on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada and this heat is not common here, and it came on really quick this year.
Inside the house is also running around 32 C/ 90F as it is not common to have AC here.
Does anyone have any suggestions for keeping her cool, we have a wading pool on the deck but she does not really like or has not figured out she would feel better in it...
Right now she is lying in front of the fan on the tile floor downstairs with a wet towel on her and she is dozing, should I be concerned about her?
Thanks a bunch
