Today was a first . . .

Evie & Adam refused to go for a walk!! Ok, it was absolutely pouring rain this morning. They even refused to get off the back porch to potty! Adam gets up this morning, races down the stairs, I open the door, He races out and does a reverse in double time! LOL All I could do was laugh at him and then shove him back outside - or we'd have an accident! Evie was no better, I had to force her out as well - then I spent 10 minutes telling her to get off the porch to potty or mommy wasnt going to let her back in! Then I asked if they wanted a walk - - they both looked at me like i was insane with that head tilted, raised ear look! :D

Haha!! I know just the look you're talking about. When it's raining, the boys just stand there in the doorway looking outside. They know if they turn and give me that look, then they will get the boot outside sooner! Since I live in an apartment, I have to take them out on leashes, so I get just as wet as they do. I guess they think that they're the only ones that get wet!

Copper will go out in the rain without a problem. Sherlock will not step outside unless I go too. And sometimes I even have to go out of his eyesight to get him to venture further than the deck. Once he's out that far and wet he will decide to go do his business. The things we do for our dogs!!!

We used to have a little female Boxer who hated the rain with a passion. If we made her go outside while it was pouring, she would only go as far as under the eaves of the house. Go on the grass? No way, wouldn't dare get her little feet wet! Ronin doesn't mind water, but if I let him out and it's really raining, he'll take two steps, do an about face, then right back into the house. I have to shove him out again and shut the door on him before he'll finally go off to do his "business".

that is so funny. I have the same problem with my dog's and since I live in florida it is always raining in the summer. :D

I know what you mean! I swear they have the most incredible bladder control (when the want to). Herkie did the same thing this am-I opened the door, and it was pouring down rain, and he refused to go out. So back to bed we went. I knew he wouldn't pee in the house, and if he REALLY had to go, he would have went real quick on the bush just outside the door. On a side note, I hope you didn't miss your walk too much!

Its funny cuz they always nag nag nag to go for their walks no matter what the weather! :D they just didnt want to walk in that particular down pour i guess. They are just such goofs!

Clover is a strange character - she only hates the rain if it's that cold bone shivering rain and when it's windy. But if it's just a light rain she doesn't care either way.

Brutus has always hated the rain. He'll ring the bell to go out, stand on the stoop long enough to see that it's raining and try to run back in. He doesn't even like to walk in wet grass. His daddy calls him a wussy boy.

The funniest thing was the first time he ever saw snow flurries. He went out in the yard, looked up, saw something flying at him and ran as fast as he could into the house. He's a silly boy.

Very Funny! Rocky also hates the rain! It is the only time he has no trouble coming back inside! Every other time I need to coax him in, but when it is raining he does his buisiness and wants to come right back in!
