I'm sorry for the difficult position you are in. I agree with others -- no one else can tell you what you should do. You know your Cushti best. But we will be here to support you in whatever decisions you make.

I'm so sorry to hear about the things you are going through. Poor baby. I'm no expert by any means but I can tell you my story about Chili Dog. I adopted Chili when he was 3 years old and he never seemed as healthy as my other boxer. It was always something. When he was 4 years old his head looked as if it were caving in on one side. Took him to my vet and he said it was caused by a stroke. He had occassional seisures which in turn made him even worse. We went on for a year of that always wondering if it was the time. People would come over and ask why I hadn't put him to sleep. I just knew it wasn't right. Over that year he started losing his balance. He couldn't go up and down any stairs. Sometimes he would just fall over for no reason. He walked with his head tilted and all wobbly. He didn't seem to be in a lot of pain so we waited. We had finally after a full year of wondering and dealing with his issues we knew. It hit us. On Friday night we decided to take him on Monday and by Saturday we knew we couldn't wait until Monday. He had to go that night. The seisures started, vomiting, fall over. He looked so disoriented that I don't think he even knew who I was. He started growling and snaping at me. I knew then that his time with us was over. He was in pain and needed to go peacefully. I can't tell you if now is right or not. I just think you will know. Everyone told me I would know and I did. Good luck. Enjoy every minute you can with your baby.
