I can't even move around in my kitchen for fear of falling over the dog that's always parked behind me. It dosen't seem to matter how many times I step on him, he is always there.
God forbid he miss that one single crumb I drop...

I had a English Bulldog that knew that when the microwave signaled it was done, that meant food.

A boxer I had growing up wasn't much of a beggar, guess she always knew she would get to lick my bowl, plate, etc. when I was done. It got so that she perked up whenever she heard the scraping of silverware on the dish. I would always tease her while I was eating, making "done" sounds with my fork or spoon. Hee Hee Hee!

The crew I have nowadays are all my constant shadows, regardless of what room I'm in, food or no food.

I've never given him one, as they're chocolate, but he's very persistent!

I don't know if you let him have people food at all, or wouldnt want to take the risk. But growing up I never knew chocolate was poisonous to dogs so I always fed it to my German Shephard. As I got older people would tell me, I can't beleive you feed your dog chocolate. I had never thought twice about it. Then one Christmas, this little lab puppy we had rescued and were keeping temporarily got into a huge bowl of reese cups and kisses. I freaked and called the vet and she said unless it was baking chocolate or unless she ate more than a LBS of it it wouldnt hurt her. She may have a little loose stool though because she ate so much. Which she did. But anyway now, I give both my babies little morsels of heaven he he when I'm munching. They love it so much. More than any other food I think. I dont give them more than a bite or two casue it will give them the runs.
Anyway the vet said it was the baking stuff thats dangerous. Not the regular milk chocolate every day variety. And even with that, they have to eat so much, she said a 1 lbs. for my 25 lbs pup at that time. Thats a lot of chocolate. That would make me sick too!

My doggies (LC, boxer, and Buddy, G. Ret) sit and stare at me when I'm eating. Buddy will follow me everytime I go to the kitchen. Even if I only want to throw something away. They never trust me to go in there by myself, as if I might need help defending myself from some cookies.

I tell them that their food is better than mine. Mine is really terrible, it tastes yuckey, that they wouldn't like it at all and I only eat it because I have to, but they never believe me. Silly puppies

I bought Lou some wet food once, and now I can't even get the can opener out of the drawer without him coming in, and smacking his lips at me. I'll open a can of HUMAN food and there he is, smack, smack, smacking away at me.

Both my dogs have exceptional hearing when it come to ice cream. I just decide that I would have some. I peaked out of the kitchen and checked that both dogs were fast asleep on the couch. I very carefully opened the freezer and get out the ice cream and before the bucket has even hit the counter, I hear a thumpy thumpy as two dogs hit the floor and I turn around and the there is a dog in each door way licking their lips. Hmmm, do you think that they are going to get some?

Stampedes of elephants it sounds like....LOL....then we have to have 3 slices....one for each of us!!
