Tiny Teeth

Our 8 month old boxer has the tiniest teeth, and I don't recall my other dogs having teeth quite that small at that age. Wasn't able to find anything using the search engine and am curious to know if this is the norm. She has no problem wolfing down her RMBs ~ Cathy

Extra tooth

I know the lower front teeth can be very tiny.

Toby has an extra top front tooth. It is right in the center.

A couple of people had posted about an extra tooth but not very many. I could not find anything about it on the web.

I am not sure which teeth you are looking at, but the incisors (I think that is what they are called) are usually very tiny. In the wild, they used them to rip apart the flesh on their kill. Domesticated dogs don't have this need and so generations have gone into those teeth pretty much shrinking up.
