Thunder

Edgar Hates Thunder and Lightening

Edgar is down right petrified of the lightening and will pant and breath hard when there is thunder. Lately he is spooked by a lot of loud noises but could care less when he was a puppy. Must have had a bad storm when he was home alone.

We are having thunder as I type this and Shelby is pacing the house panting. She is terrified of it. There has been times that my whole bed shakes from her shivering in fright of thunder. Holly on the other hand is out cold asleep.

Beau used to be absolutely terrified of thunder. He'd come running to me and sit on me until the storm passed. However, he has grown out of this and doesn't even seem to notice it anymore.

Being that I live in Central Florida and in the summer we get a storm EVERY afternoon the dogs aren't too bothered by it. When we get a louder than usual storm the dogs will get startled the first few rumbles and then drift comfortably back to slumber. Bella WILL NOT go potty when it's raining. She looks at me like, "I don't want to mess up my hairdo!!" Bladder of steel that girl has.

my puppy is so silly. first she will bark at the thunder really loudly, then she'll run as fast as she can and hide behind me or my DH. it makes me laugh so incredibly hard! silly babbies!

Splash could care less. I remember right after we got him we had a bad storm and I feared the worse. He slept through the whole thing and usually does to this day. It is funny how they all react different.

Sam could care less about thunder. Chief hates the really loud claps.:eek: He trembles! But the rolling thunder doesn't seem to bother him!

Loud thunder doesn't usually bother Waldo,the only time he got a fright was when he had to go outside for no.2's,a huge clap of thunder right in the middle of going to the toilet,never seen a dog jump so high:eek:My poor boy,I shouldn't laugh,but it was so funny
