Both of my boxers, Male 4 years and Female 1 year, will occasionally throw up. I just thought they played too hard after they ate and had an upset tummy. Chance has been doing it a bit more often. Last weekend he threw up twice and seemed a little lethargic. I gave him some pepto and he was fine. He threw a little food up the past 3 nights in a row. On Monday when I came home for lunch there were 4 small throw up spots. It is food, sometimes whole and sometimes it looks like mush. After either of them throws up they are fine and keep on playing. They play REALLY hard with each other. Does anyone have any suggestions? It is really scary when he does throw up and looks at me like "mom, what is going on."

You shouldn't let them play for at least an hour after eating. It could cause a condition called bloat, where their stomachs twist and could be fatal. Try keeping them calm after eating and maybe that will help.

Will do. I may have to seperate them, but I will do it. I certainly don't want them to get bloat. We just got Sadie, she was a rescue. I didn't realize they would play so hard. Thank you!
