My Romy is a 3 month old puppy. She got 2nd shots on 11th/07
,but today she seems to be sick.As of yesterday she would not eat as much as usually, today nothing for brekfast, half portion for lunch time. Before lunch we took long walk and it was hot outside, but i tought nothing is going to happen. All of a sudden she start throwing up in a car when we took ride to my sisters place. All thogether 5 times. Her nose is dry and eyes watery.
Her stool is also soft.I don`t know what to do.There is not any emergency service in our area.Could this bee any virus symptoms Should I give her to drink or eat anything today.Just to remind she was deazy aftyer today`s walk, and thet she is sleaping now.
Thank you!!!

Its to bad that you don't have an emergency vet in the area. If i were in your shoes i would at least get her to drink. I know dogs can dehydrate just like us skin folks can. If you do try to feed her just a little and see if she can keep it down. Call you doc as soon as you can and get her checked out. Good luck

Is there a vet number you can phone for advice in the interim? It may just be the heat, but it would be good to know what you should be doing if that's the case anyway.

Please keep us posted.

Hi,We took Romy today to the Vet.We were told thet her stomach is upset somehow. She is on a coocked rice and hamburger meat
1/4 of cup 4 times a day for the next couple of a days.I gave her 2.nd meal tonight and she throw up again.Vet said it might be late
reaction to the vaccine she got on last Wed.and the same day I gave her deworming pill. Why is she not any better today 5 days after her shots? Her temperature, and stool were OK,she is a playful but Vet suggested not to take her out for these couple of a days.Romy is getting bored of all the time spend inside the house.Any ideas what to do???

It'd be best to stick with what the vet suggests. If she's getting bored inside, maybe you could take the time to reinforce her training. (you don't need room to sit/lay/stay) Even extend it to some training games, like hide and seek. I can't remember the site, but I have seen one that lists different training games. I guess a sick puppy is the same as a sick child. It's hard to keep them from being bored.
