Thoughts on Nutro's Natural Choice puppy food

I have been feeding Nutro Natural Lamb and Rice for about 3 years. I have no complaints with it. The dogs love it and they are beautiful, happy puppies.

I have had the food problem also!! I have researched and learned a lot on this site. I do agree that we should not feed Large Breed Puppy Food to our boxers. They are considered a medium sized dog. I have my 11 week old on Nutro Ultra Puppy and he is doing so much better. I switched him off of Iams Puppy (gas, gas, gas!!!) The gas now is much, much less. His stool in nice and solid and frequency seems normal. I really like the Ultra Line. His coat was course & dry looking; now it is shiny and beautiful!!! I really think Nutro is a good choice for those of us that can't get the Wellness, etc.. in our area. My husband raises beagles and he is now planning to switch them to the Nutro line.

I She tends to Poo quite a bit on this food which makes me think it may not be a good quality food.

In my experience.. puppies poo a lot no matter what food you feed them ! but I would honestly reccomend canidae.. very good food. you would ahve to go to their website to find a dealer near you.. all human grade products, and IMOP its better than nutro, but nutro is a good food. better than iams, etc
