Ususally, at Roxy's age, it is ok to switch right over to raw... I know that if they are older, it can be more problematic.

If you are going to combine with a type of kibble, make sure you are feeding them at different times as they digest at different rates.

I personally switched straight over. Once I saw the benefits of raw on her digestion I couldn't bear to go back!

This if you want to go over time. But I switched my 14-year-old lab mix Toby without any transition and he was fine. HORRID gas for a few weeks but that was it. I can't recommend it enough!

I agree with Stub. I prefered the straight switch instead of the combo with kibble...

We didn't have any bad gas though! Hopefully you are so luck. Boxer gas is the worst ever!

Thanks guys for the help!!! We are going to see what the best option is that works around teh family but now we know that raw feeding is an option that will help our pup be even more healthy!!!
