Eating habits

Well, Mia and her "uncle" got into my Dad's cigarettes. We went inside to eat and when we came back we found the pack... empty. We know for sure that it was a brand new pack. That would mean that between the two of them 19 cigarettes we disposed of.

Needless to say, I found the filters in her poop. Little strands of cotton. I was very surprised that she did not get sick. She was only around 4 months old. I figured cigarettes would make her sick. Guess my little one has a strong stomach.

So far I've been lucky and Dallas hasn't gotten into anything except now and then he gets confused and thinks my slippers are his toys! The best story I heard is that a few weeks ago, my boxer "nephew" Jackson threw up one of my sister's bras! She never did figure out how he got a hold of that. Good thing she's rather small chested!

I can think of a dog that I know that once ate his daddy's MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and some cash too...the wallet stays more secure now. He also has a sock fetish, but only for a seek-and-destroy mission, he doesn't actually eat them. He just reminded me...he is also fond of towels - in the time that it took me to write this he has found and shredded a dish towel.

Every year Gunther makes some Gingerbread Houses for our friends & neighbours children. About 4 years ago he had made the sheets of gingerbread and left them down in the basement, there wasn't enough room for all of the sheets (18"X24") to go on top of the chest freezer, so he upturned two large buckets and put a tray with a couple of sheets of gingerbread on it.
We didn't think anything about it until Gunther went to make the houses and there was a whole sheet missing . Not one crumb was left :eek: I think Sergeant must have had a party without us knowing .
He had no after effects from eating it all, I thought at least he would have diarrhea, his stomach must be a lot stronger than mine, I couldn't eat that much.
Needless to say now every year we make sure Sergeant & Gingerbread do not meet.
Just last week we had a celebration to go to, Gunther had had an accident with the cake and had to make it again. (That's another story)! We had to empty two part bags of Sergeant's food into two buckets, one was Nutro and the other was the vet formula. When we left Gunther forgot to close the door where we keep the food, when we eventually got home 6 hours later, one of the buckets (Nutro) was only a third full, Sergeant looked like a little barrel! No dinner that evening and only a handful for his breakfast the next day.

Bosco likes to eat Jake's food, dirt, grass, napkins and he also loves to chew up his daddy's cigarettes. Maybe he knows they aren't good for him. He doesn't eat the cigarettes, just chews them. Oh yeah, he used to have a really bad habit of eating his own poop. Yuck! I'm glad he got over that!!

Apollo ate socks when he was young, But that was it and doesn't do it anymore. But Phoenix on the other hand she LOVES wood any kind.

Lily enjoys dove soap.... she will pull the bar from the shower if i forget to close the door when i'm done.. the one in the bath is a tasty after dinner treat.. i just know it's wreaking havoc on her system.. thus i now have to pick up all soap afterward adn stash it in the closet... gotta love them
