This past Friday we came home after about 3 hours of being out and silly me I didn't latch the kennel fully.
Both Dogs were romping through the house and happy as could be when we got home... but my pumpkin was gone, the pumpkin I was going to use to make pumpkin pie.
It was about 5 pounds and there wasn't a single trace in the whole house (though the trace eventually showed up outside...)
My concern is that Shasta, 1.5 years old, now has two bumps on her back that are a bit red and tender to the touch.
Could this be a reaction to all the pumpkin? A hot spot? Will benydryl or a cortizone cream?
Thanks for your thoughts.

Silly dogs :) Well, I give mine pumpkin for diarrhea so as long as they are going I would not be too worried. As for your girl's bumps might be related but could be a coincidence. My girl will get a sore bump once in awhile when she plays with a particular dog friend of hers-he grabs her skin and pulls  but in a day or so it is fine. Can you post a pic of it?

I doubt that it is a reaction to the pumpkin. If it doesn't improve in a couple of days, I would take her to the vet.

about 3 more bumps appeared and now they are all gone, spontaneously overnight they disappeared. Her fur is VERY shiny in the areas the bumps were though. Weird.
