Just wanted to express how much Boxer World means to us. And how it is helping me cope with the emptiness. I had to make the difficult dreaded dicision to put Dana down today. After 2 weeks of her not being herself and a vet telling me she was ok. Last night she vomited blood for 24 hours. Got her to a vet where he was very sympathtic and professional. We chose the humane way,(there was too much damage done) although it seems like such a insult to such a beautiful soul. They give up thier life for us, there is nothing they wouldnt do...such undonditional love. If mankind can find a way to legnthen a life span for humans ...why not for animals. I feel so empty it hurts all over...We had a long good bye, lots of prayers. And 10 1/2 years of pure fun Dana had gone in many public places most dogs dont. And made friends everywhere. The neighborhood kids come over to ask if she can play.
