The Look....

I would like to know how many of you get the "I Love You" look from your babies. I have noticed this look before, but yesterday morning before DH and I left for work, my Kaiser was sitting in his dads chair just staring at me. He looked so peaceful and content just staring at me. It almost made me cry. I looked at him and said "I Love You Too BubbyBear". His little nubbin just wagged. Now Clarese gives me the stare like "Gimme My Snackies". You know the neck stretched out, eyes wide open, and the ears cocked like the Flying Nun? She has the "I Love You" look as well, but she's more the gimme, gimme, gimme girl. Just wanted to know, if I have totally lost my mind or does all our babies do this?

I get these all the time! Both looks! I also get the "I'm about to make a wookie-noise while sassing you" look.

OH yes I get these looks too!! Brody is very expressive with his looks. Its very easy to know he is in trouble. Because he has the "Im guilty look" hahahaha I can see it now.

Roxy definetly has the guilty look! She has so many expressions! Love, happy, sad, tired....etc! I love them all!

How about the 'I'm NOT looking at you" look that they give when they know you're leaving for work, or they're doing something they're not supposed to and want to be invisible? Lily does this when I get ready to leave for work in the morning....curls up in a ball and looks anywhere BUT at me, like "If I'm not looking at her then she can't see me' he he....

I think that's why we love em so, and, there all so spoiled. How can you resist those looks, I don't think I have this right but, a boxer has a thousand expressions? So true!!

chopper does all those too! the "i want to play fetch" look (with a toy in his mouth), the "i love you" look (sooooooooooooo cute), the "i am guilty/will be in trouble" look (which is usually followed by him running away so that we can't catch him and yell at him), the "i am so tired i can barely keep my eyes open, but i will keep trying because i want to look at you mom and dad" look...ahhhh so many looks!

i read a while ago that boxers are not only known as the clowns of all breeds, but also as the "honest dog" because they can't hide their feelings, their expressions tell it all!

Bella's best look is FEED ME but she also has a great puppy love look lovicon. When she's walking, she has a very distinctive "I'm so cool" look :cool: and when she does her boxer burn, she has this funny crazy look

I really have never seen any animal as expressive as a dog. You gotta love 'em.

I love that look so much. Its like they dont want to miss anything. My Chopper still has that look like DUH on his face.
