After Roddie's death, city officials considered a ban on pit bulls and other breeds known to be aggressive, but decided not to recommend banning particular breeds. They believe the existing dangerous dog laws, coupled with more effective enforcement, will address the problem.

It's nice to see somewhere in the world common sense takes over. The Province Wide breed ban issue here is still ongoing, and from all I have read it doesn't look too promising. Even the Christian Television Service had a debate on it yesterday, and it was nothing but there's no choice but to enforce a breed ban. :(

It will be interesting to see how ours turns out.
