The Blowdryer

I couldn't help but sharing and wonder if any other boxers are as vain as mine. ;-)

Every morning I get up and start getting ready for work and Rocko our 1 year old male periodically will come in and check in on my husband and me getting ready (mostly to lick us dry when we get out of the shower). When I start to blowdry my hair Rocko comes streaking around the cornner (like the devil was chasing him) into the bathroom and will sit on my feet until I to blowdry his coat and give him a little brush. After his quick blowdry he happily continutes with his morning routine. Is this normal?!?!?!? I always thought that most any animal hated the blowdryer, but not my Rocko...he loves to get his hair done.

That's too funny! Sky loves to lick me dry also but so far didn't show any interest in the blowdryer. Rocko's coat must look beautiful with all the brushing and styling! What a cool puppy :cool:

That is so cute. Rocky is 7 months and always comes running when he hears the blowdryer. I point it at his face (on the cool setting so it's not too hot) and he gets down into his play bow stance and barks at the blowdryer.

Pretty much every morning - his little nub is wagging so he loves it - he used to be afraid the first time I did that - but now it's our morning ritual too!

Silly boxers! I love them!

OH MY GOD!!! I have his twin at home, she used to bark at it until she realized it was a giver of heat (which she loves!) She will practically sit on top of me when im drying my hair and every so often will 'paw' me to get the dryer turned on her. She then puts he head back (proud as punch!) and gets a blast of the heat. Then i dry my hair, then frank, then hair, then frank etc. etc.! Its great!

Cody loves the hairdryer as well. Everytime I dry my hair he comes running waiting for his turn. So silly .

For Brady, the sound of the hair dryer means I'm leaving for work soon so that's usually his cue to go hide under the bed.

LOL.....Harley does the who play bow and barks at the dryer. When I point it in her direction she really has a fit. Its funny!!! Then there is Koda who could careless about it.

Emma LOVES the hair dryer too. She'll bark and play bite at the air before she settles down to sit at my feet and have a little warm air blown on her back. She'll back up onto my feet if I've taken too long between "turns" for her.

I also bought her a special paddle brush to brush her while she gives butt wiggles - after she started to bark at me when I brushed my hair
