I know that with any new product there could be a problem with certain breeds. My boxer takes the injections well, as well as, my golden retreiver. My vet breeds and owns several boxers. I got my love of boxers while working for her and my first boxer came from one of her litters. She would not recommend anything to me that she would not do or use with her boxers. As with anything, pet owners need to be cautious and watch there pets closely after giving any meds or vaccinations. Our pets are like humans in that they can be allergic to anything and have adverse reactions to many meds. Thanks

Hi,
I am not a fan of pumping a bunch of stuff into your dog, so I use Heartguard for heartworms, my vet's recommendation. In Florida and in other areas of the country if you don't use HW protection you will get HW, that simple. FL has many, many cases each year.
I use advantage for fleas. I have NO fleas. Unfortunately, I also need to spray for ticks some times of the year. But if I use Frontline, I may see fleas by the end of the month.

I do it regularly the first of every month like clockwork and have never had a problem with worms or fleas.:D

My dogs are on the monthly heartgard pills, as for fleas, I didn't think Bio Spot worked too well, Advantage was better.
